Zelda looks good, everything else does not.

Seriously? I was somewhat impressed with the new controller idea. Sure, not all of it would be my cup of tea, but just being able to play a console game while my wife watches a movie or something is pretty awesome!

The idea is cool, but, I already own a PS3 and a competent gaming PC.
Why should I even buy this other than nintendo franchises? All the games looked the same anyway. The only games that were graphically impressive were Metro and Battlefield.
I wanted game trailers, not ports. It all looks just like a 360 version.

As usual, I recommend folks make their way over to the official Nintendo site where trailers and screenshots are constantly getting uploaded. It's a big buggy right now, but there's a lot to be excited about. Paper Mario and Kirby are both looking good.
Perhaps I will share my thoughts on the conference later. All in all, I'm pleased. Nintendo accomplished what they wanted to and I got what I needed from them. Now to wait for hands-on impressions.

www.nintendo.co.jp/n10/e3_2011/02/index.htmlOk, shvitz was right, watch this footage of third party games. Metro is at 60fps. My computer runs the first at not max at 25-30. ...all BUT confirmed? LOL Don't know why, but that made me laugh. Epic has been teasing about it on twitter, but won't outright say it was them. Neither will Nintendo.

Reggie was being very sly when the video was mentioned in conjunction with Epic. And for that matter, he looked like he wanted to start giggling when faced with questions about what Retro was working on.
My guess is to look toward the developers' conferences for their typical small-kinda-but-not-really bombs, and then after that, the Nintendo news in September. But very encouraging stuff.

Wow, an HD Zelda game. >_>
As far as the Wii U goes, it reminds of what Nintendo was doing with the GCN and the GBA connectivity....

Zelda, 1080p confirmed. Which is like, twice the amount of pixels of 720p. www.youtube.com/watch?v=arHNcSMXaBkand it looks so much better. SWEET BABY JESUS. Oh, and there's a video floating around (low quality) of ghost recon online being played on the system...and that's a free to play game. Free to play on Wii U?
