The best part was Call Me Maybe.

The press conferences just sucked all around this year.

From what I've heard, the biggest announcement from Nintendo was Pikmin 3, which sucks cause I don't care for Pikmin.

Rumor now has it Retro was to debut/tease their newest title in the last few minutes but pulled out suddenly because it wasn't ready. Hence the overlong Nintendo Land display.
I'd certainly believe it - the whole conference seemed like it was hastily cobbled together cause certain elements went missing/weren't ready. And definitely coincides with rumors of Retro's latest development. Shame if true, since the whole conference suffered for it.

I didn't watch it but I heard it was disappoint. I watched Microsoft just for kicks and it was pretty bad... football and Usher! Halo looked cool, but I already accepted Halo 3 was the end and I don't know if I care any more. I also have never owned an Xbox, so really I have no business commenting on it at all

Ubisoft having the most interesting presentation is hilarious and embarassing.
Also: Virtually everything shown in the press conferences was running on PC.

The press conferences just sucked all around this year. This. Just this... I heard or read speculation that Nintendo might have dropped some announcements at the last minute simply because they didn't need to drop anything major since the other two's conferences were so underwhelming. I fully believe it. Nintendo likes to really control their own press/news, and they like to hold onto juicy news as long as possible for moments when they are unprepared for anything else. And it's hard to argue that MS and Sony were very underwhelming... Granted, I was happy to hear Playstation All-Stars was going to be on Vita with cross play, but that's not exactly a "megaton" drop or anything...

New information is leaking out.
Apparently the Wii U's CPU is somehow weaker than the 360's. And that is shitty. The GPU is apparently somewhere around 3x the 360's, with GPGPU functionality and a DX11 featureset.
So basically there's a very small chance it'll get next gen ports because of the GPGPU, but the weaker CPU means most current gen games won't come if the engines are CPU heavy.
And yeah, literally everything at E3 was running on PC's that wasn't a first party game. Seems like it might be a good time for me to upgrade my pc...
